ZTE Mobley Brings Internet in Your Car

AT&T is currently promoting a new Wi-Fi device that is capable to offer car drivers a reliable Internet connection in their vehicles. ZTE Mobley makes use of power from the car, but does not have a power cable, like competitors’ similar products.

You do not have to be an internet expert in order to use the device; simply plug it into the onboard diagnostics port, which is present in all the modern cars that have been built since 1996. Once Mobley is installed, up to five devices can link to it and use the 4G LTE network.  Mobley can be also used by guests traveling in the car, of course.

Wi-Fi Allergies

Electromagnetic hypersensitivity is a medical condition that affects some persons. It is also the case of a young boy, who feels sick due to the presence of a free Wi-Fi network in his school.

The story began in 2013, when a boy from a prestigious Massachusetts school started to come home with headaches, rash and itchy skin. After a long period of investigations, the family came to the conclusion that the sickness has to do with the Wi-Fi signal.

The disease is still considered to be a mysterious one, especially because many of the patients have diagnosed themselves. The symptoms include nausea, vomiting, heart palpitations, digestive problems and fatigue, symptoms which seem to be somehow related with the presence of the electromagnetic fields. The World Health Organization is not yet talking about a serious medical condition caused by Wi-Fi, although the unpleasant symptoms have already made some people quit their jobs.

American Business Magnate Offers Free Wi-Fi

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Motors, has asked the Federal Communications Commission to allow him to use 4,000 satellites. If his request is accepted, many people located in the most remote areas on Earth will be able to connect to the internet within the next five years.  Due to their low altitude orbits and slow speeds, about 4,000 satellites will be enough to do the job.
